Topics covered include:  

  • Achieving an effective food service system through developing a great team, setting goals, and getting the most from the workday;
  • Developing leadership in managers through training in coaching employees, managing change, and valuing differences;
  • Learning succcessful management skills such as communication, motivation, conflict resolution, delegation and discipline.

Each kit contains 7 to 8 lessons, PowerPoint slide presentations, masters for participant handouts, transparencies, one videotape, and an instructor manual.  

                              




Achieving an Effective Food Service System

An effective food service system requires a good team.  Food service managers can build a good team by hiring successful employees, developing team goals, and providing orientation, training, and retraining to help good employees succeed.  Strategies for an effective work environment include getting the most from your workday, time management, scheduling, and crisis management procedure and practice.  Published 2001.  ET26-01.
