Adobe

There have been some recent issues with opening Adobe PDF documents due to updates released by Adobe for their Professional and Reader products. The error "The file you are downloading cannot be opened by the default program. It is either corrupted or it has an incorrect file type." is due to improper file associations, and can be fixed by following our instructions linked here.

The error "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired." requires that the Adobe Reader be updated and can be done so by clicking the Adobe Reader image below.

All resources are available for free download. Download and print what you need, and make as many copies as you like. You may use the materials for educational purposes as long as they are not being printed for resale. We also ask that you retain the NFSMI and USDA identifiers on all NFSMI materials that you download and reproduce.

Print materials can be made available on CD or bulk print in quantities of 25 or more by special order. The NFSMI no longer warehouses printed materials. These print on demand special orders take 4 to 6 weeks to print, and are priced on a cost recovery basis, including shipping and handling.
Most video materials are available on DVD by special order.
